About This Place

Located in the heart of Pensacola, Tu-Do Vietnamese Restaurant offers an authentic taste of Vietnam that beckons both locals and visitors alike. Specializing in Vietnamese cuisine, this cozy eatery at 7130 N Davis Hwy delivers a comforting culinary experience that is hard to find elsewhere in Northwest Florida.

The star of Tu-Do’s menu is undoubtedly their Pho, a fragrant and soul-warming rice noodle soup that comes in multiple enticing varieties. Whether you crave the Pho Dac Biet with rare sliced beef, tender meatballs, and flavorful tripe, or the lighter yet equally satisfying Pho Ga packed with juicy chicken, each bowl bursts with rich, slow-cooked broth that delights the senses with every sip. For seafood lovers, the Pho Tom with shrimp offers a fresh, briny twist, while vegetarians will appreciate the delicate flavors of Pho Dau Hu made with tofu or the garden-fresh Pho Rau Cai loaded with vegetables.

The menu extends far beyond pho, featuring vibrant specialties like the Bo Luc Lac, where sautéed beef chuck steak is served on a crisp bed of lettuce and ripe tomatoes, perfectly balancing savory and fresh. The General Chicken, known for its spicy kick, delivers bold flavors that linger pleasingly on the palate. Guests seeking something truly authentic will be drawn to the Nem Nuong, grilled pork meatballs wrapped in delicate rice paper with a medley of fresh herbs and lettuce, turning every bite into a harmonious celebration of textures and tastes.

Don’t miss the iconic Banh Xeo — Vietnamese crepes with a crisp exterior and savory filling — praised by longtime patrons like 'jin' who highlights its nostalgic and healthy appeal. These dishes, paired with their range of refreshing drinks such as the creamy, tropical Boba Smoothies (try the mango or avocado) or the bold and sweet Cafe Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk), ensure a perfectly rounded meal.

The atmosphere inside Tu-Do reflects the warmth found in every bowl and plate. Despite its modest size, the restaurant maintains impeccable cleanliness and a welcoming vibe, with attentive and friendly staff who make every guest feel valued — a sentiment echoed by reviewers like Wendy Bedsole. The small but comfortable dining space invites you to relax and savor each dish slow enough to appreciate the intricate layers of flavor.

What sets Tu-Do apart is the genuine love and respect infused into their service and food, creating a familial environment that keeps customers coming back time and time again. Whether you're a longtime fan of Vietnamese cuisine or new to these vibrant flavors, Tu-Do Vietnamese Restaurant promises an unforgettable taste journey that stirs the heart and satisfies the soul.

(This is bánh xèo btw I recommend) I grew up eating here and I wanna vouch for it. This restaurant has always been one of my most favourite places to spend time. The menu's range of healthy + delicious dishes and nostalgic tastes is what makes me choose it over other Vietnamese restaurants each time. Not only that, but I am always treated with respect and kindness by everyone there. Tu-Do has a special place in my heart and I truly wish it many many years of success. I just wish that they were open Sundays again.

This is the best place in all of Pensacola to get that comfort food you crave. The food is always hot and fresh. Its small but they are very efficient. Floors are clean and so is the restroom(however the restrooms are a bit small). Service is always excellent! I recommend coming here next time you are in town! This place is better then a buffet.

Been driving past here for years and never stopped by until now. Totally my loss. Always cars in the parking lot. So we went for dinner and it was very good. I had seen a picture of a dish here from another reviewer but had no clue what it was. The menu is huge, and I just resorted to pointing to the picture on my phone. The waitress laughed and said #36. So that's what I got and it was so good. We will be back. Staff was great, place was clean. Food came out quickly.

The absolutely best Pho in Northwest Florida! I live 45 minutes away from here, but I regularly come just for their Pho. The service and staff are also very friendly and the prices are reasonable. I can't say enough good things about the food here. We will definitely be back.

Nice family restaurant. It's a warm and cozy atmosphere in here. It's also quiet and comfortable. Menu is large covering about 50% of Vietnamese's common dishes. They are tasty too. Some are cooked not in the proper method though, but that's fine. I enjoy it. Serving time is fast. Waiter doesn't push at all. Price is a bit above average, but this is Florida, so I expected that.

Spring rolls were okay, but we got huge portions of beef pho, charred pork vermicelli, and crispy egg noodles with beef and vegetables. So the main dishes are where it’s at! The basil was so fresh and looked home-grown. Service was just okay—took our order, dropped off food, then never returned. But if you’re good with that, then the main dishes are worth it!

Oh wow. Their broth is so flavorful and the price is the best I’ve seen in all my travels. I paid $12.55 for a lg brisket pho. That price is unbelievable until you actually see your bill. This restaurant has a steady stream of customers. They sell a variety of Vietnamese food. Next time I will try their house fried rice.
